Soil Wash Plants

Soil wash plants generate a liquid slurry (silt) which can be processed in a press to produce a cake suitable for transport to landfill, this can be costly and the wash plant is restricted to the amount of soil it can process by the speed of the drying mechanism. Other means to deal with the silt are multiple bins or lagoons that will hold the slurry until it dries. This traditional treatment method requires a large area and can have issues when there is rain or snow. MetaFLO’s technology will allow solidification of the silt within minutes of it being processed.

Where wash plants need to recover water from the silt our technology can work in combination with the drying mechanism to enable recovery of the free water whilst treating the more problematic sludges. This solidified material has options for reuse as a clean dry fill or hydrophilic topsoil mix.
